My Longest Chat Conversation

Are you fond of chatting? How much time do you spend for it? Actually I am really not into chatting and I make use of the chat when I had to talk to my relatives especially if i can't reach them through phone. I love chatting though.
Anyway, i had my longest chat conversation with my uncle last weekend. We had such an interesting conversation about his work and his new place in Dubai. I am really eager to work abroad and maybe this is the reason why my uncle took my interest and had the longest chat conversation with him. He's asking me if I am interested to apply abroad and he's also asking me if I already have a passport.
Unfortunately, i still don't have one and i don't have much time to process such document since I already got a job but if ever I will be given a chance, i will definitely grab that opportunity to process my passport.
Anyway, he also shared some of his work experiences and also his new life abroad. He was able to find a new place and is willing now to stray there for good. My uncle is not yet married but he has a girl friend already who is also a filipina.
I was actually teasing him that he will be married soon. I keep on sending him some funny emoticons which made our conversation more interesting haha.
I had so much fun chatting with my uncle and I'm sure he will buzz me again for another conversation. haha

My Pasta Hurts

I think i have to visit my dentist again because I feel like something is wrong with my "teeth pasta" . Anyway, it feels weird because my pasta hurts every time i chew and also when i drink or eat something extremely cold or hot. I called him yesterday and he told me that the pain will eventually subside after few weeks. Maybe I'm not used to it yet that's why it hurts that bad. I will turn 22 this year and we all now how time run so fast and i just can't escape the fact that i am no longer getting younger and as of this moment, i should be thinking of my future, having a stable job and having a family of my own.
I have to admit, at this age, i am still acting so immature, still fond of video games and still having fun hanging out and partying with my friends. I know... it was such a shame and i know that i should start acting more serious and mature.

This time, i should do the right thing. My friends are setting me on a blind date and hopefully it will work. I'm not really comfortable with it because i prefer on having a date to someone i know better.

Last 2007, i was able to take a technical training course while working. I took the course for Computer Technician to learn at least the basic of computer troubleshooting. It seems that it was just yesterday when we were being threatened by Typhoon Dodong and now here comes Typhoon Egay. Right now, it is just a tropical depression but any moment today, it will be considered already as a typhoon according to the news. I told you guys before that one of my goals this year is to become more active into sports. Well, I know i am not a sporty type of guy but I am aiming to become one. You don't know guys what exactly happened to me last Thursday. I borrowed my dad's car but i accidentally involved it on a collision. Yikes. If you just know how nerve wracking that was to tell my dad what happened to his car. As expected, my dad turned himself into an angry dragon, bursting with so much emotion that time. Well i can't blame him. I know how much he need the car. He might be disabled but he can still drive and sometimes he used his car for business purposes that's why i just can't blame him for being so angry like that.

Good thing mom was able to calm my dad and last Saturday, my father and I made a deal. I will help my dad and will shoulder most of the bills for the repairs. Ooops! I guest this is such a big challenge to face. I'm not sure if i have enough savings for this. The car was damaged so bad and it sure requires a lot of repairs. And that sounds a lot of money too!

I love organizing school science trade show exhibit where all students from different grade levels will present their creative invention.
Organizing such event is not that easy because your responsibilities are to protect not just the items but also the visitors. We used to place some crowd control equipment to make it easy for us to organize the event. We used to restrict visitors for touching any items on the event too unless they were allowed by its owner. Preparation for a trade show exhibit is not as easy as what you think because we are carrying a lot of responsibilities. Usually, we rent all the equipments from a rental equipment company like that Rental Equipment Portland in Oregon since we do not have enough fund to buy them. Sometimes, we asked for solicit too to make the event possible for them.

I guess almost everyone is now excited for the upcoming Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton which is said to take place on April 29, 2011. It seems that everyone is eyeing on the said event and the couple seems to be the center of media attraction ever since they declared that they are officially engaged.

From the Wedding Dress, the venue, the wedding ring, and all that wedding stuffs, people are so excited about it and they just can't wait to figure out how the bride and the groom will look like while both of them are walking down the isle.
Well, what makes this wedding so interesting for many of us? I guess people are just so curious about it and they just want to find out how a royal wedding is being held. For others, this is like a dream wedding, something that can only happen in their childish fairytale. The bride simply wants to be treated as a princess during her wedding. I'm sure everyone would love to be of Kate Middleton and experience the Royalty.
Of course in reality, not every bride is given by that opportunity but they can still have the best wedding in their entire life. They can still be treated as a princess by their groom by making their wedding extra special. You do not need a very expensive wedding! A simple yet memorable wedding will do because the fact that you are with your groom, giving your vows with him is magical enough for you to remember forever!

I don't know if this is just in our area but we are very lucky because there are veterinarians who visit every house in our baranggay to provide free anti-rabies vaccine for our dogs. We all know how dangerous the Rabies is. It could be fatal if you failed to seek immediate medical attention for it. This is the reason why we are also vaccinated by anti rabies to prevent ourselves from such fatal condition if in case we were bitten by dogs.
Anti Rabies Vaccine is required by law for our pets and I'm sure those veterinarians coming over our Baranggay serves the government that's why they are providing it for free.
Well if you do not have such service in your area, you do not have to worry since you can take your beloved pets to the nearest pet clinic and let the vet provide it for them.
Your lucky if you found a Vet like that Vet Tacoma in Washington because they are well known there for providing high quality service. Your pet will surely be taken care properly there and they also have a state-of-the-art facility to offer. How i wish i could find something like that here in our country.
As a pet owner, it is our responsibility not just to fed our pet daily but also to bring them in a vet in a regular basis for check ups and proper grooming.

Stylish Roofs

I was online last night when i decided to collect and gathered some stylish roof photos on the web. Err. I wish we have either one of these roofs. It would be great I'm sure.

This one is a Tiled Roof. I am not exactly sure what kind of materials are being used to have this fabulous style. This is very common especially to the Western areas. Clay tiles are very durable and can last up to 50 years. But the prices are usually double then those of traditional roofing materials. And also, only professionals can install this roof so perfectly like the one shown in the photo.

This is a Metal Roof. Ours belong to this category but it is not as lovely as the one shown above. They said that Metal roofs are more durable than any other materials and can last for ages if they are properly installed. They are quite cheaper too than any other else.

These is actually my personal favorite. It's a Terra Cotta and it is said to be an Italian-inspired roof. Just look at the style and see how eccentric it is. So lovely and unique and very eye-catching indeed. But then again, we should not be looking only after the apperance but also the quality of each materials. And also, these roofing materials, no matter how expensive they are, can be useless if they are not properly be installed so it is always better to let the professional do the work. It's all about the workmanship so hire those who has the right skills like those Roofers Portland Oregon can offer.

Life in the Province

It's been 10 years now since we moved here in the city but until now, i am still missing the lifestyle that we have in the province. I miss my grandpa's Poultry farm. I miss how he teaches me to feed his chickens, how to get milk from his cows and more.

The life in our province is so simple yet you will surely have fun and you will definitely enjoy your stay there. The neighbors are so hospitable and they always have this feast-like celebration almost every week.
Comparing to our house today, i still prefer the old log house that we had in the province before. I remember how nice and elegant that rustic-looking house is. Yes, it's old but you can still see how superior the craftsmanship being applied to that small cabin. Log Cabins are actually the most common houses that you can see in most of the province here in the country. It is said that log homes are strong and sturdy enough to face the worst weather conditions like typhoons and hurricanes. Well, that sounds no surprising to me, knowing that our log house is standing still until today despite of many horrible typhoon attacks all throughout the years.

This is our kitchen and as you can see, we are using ceramic tiles for both our walls and counter tops. Oh and even our floor is made out of ceramic floor tiles. The good thing about ceramic is that it comes up with so many colors and has wide variety of designs. You can even install them all by your own and will give you a chance to show your creativeness.
However, these ceramic tiles have some flaws too. It is kinda hassle to clean them because the dirt are being trapped in every edges of each tiles , making the so difficult to remove. Ceramic tiles are not so durable too because when a strong force are being applied to them, they will break easily and you have no choice but to replace them. You are lucky if you were able to find the same tile in the hardware and i am so sure that they are not selling their tiles in pieces. You have to buy them by set which will cost you a lot.
This is the reason why we're thinking of replacing our ceramic tiles into something better. They said the the best material to be used for kitchen would be marble or granite.
I did some research awhile ago and check some images online to see how great this marble countertops are.

Indiana Jones is the main protagonist of the adventure film franchise with the same title. Benjamin Gates is a character from the film National Treasure being portrayed by Nicholas Cage. Lara Croft on the other hand is the playable character from the video game Tomb Raider which was also portrayed by Angelina Jolie and gave her international stardom! Well, yes they are treasure hunters, however, they are just fictional and were only created from the creative imagination of their authors.

Although in reality, there's really such thing as treasure hunters. The story starts with Marion, In need of money to marry her boyfriend Sam Loomis, Marion Crane steals $40,000 from her employer and flees Phoenix, Arizona by car. While en route to Sam's California home, she parks along the road to sleep. A highway patrol officer awakens her and, suspicious of her agitated state, begins to follow her. When she trades her car for another one at a dealership, he notes the new vehicle's details. Marion returns to the road but, rather than drive in a heavy storm, decides to spend the night at the Bates Motel.

Owner Norman Bates tells Marion he rarely has customers because of a new interstate nearby and mentions he lives with his mother in the house overlooking the motel. He invites Marion to have supper with him. She overhears Norman arguing with his mother about letting Marion in the house, and during the meal she angers him by suggesting he institutionalize his mother. He admits he would like to do so, but does not want to abandon her.

Marion resolves to return to Phoenix to return the money. After calculating how she can repay the money she has spent, Marion dumps her notes down the toilet and begins to shower. An anonymous female figure enters the bathroom and stabs her to death. Finding the corpse, Norman is horrified. He cleans the bathroom and places Marion's body, wrapped in the shower curtain, and all her possessions — including the money — in the trunk of her car and sinks it in a nearby swamp.

Shortly afterward, Sam is contacted by both Marion's sister Lila and private detective Milton Arbogast, who has been hired by Marion's employer to find her and recover the money. Arbogast traces Marion to the motel and questions Norman, who unconvincingly lies that Marion stayed for one night and left the following morning. He refuses to let Arbogast talk to his mother, claiming she is ill. Arbogast calls Lila to update her and tells her he will contact her again after he questions Norman's mother.

Arbogast enters Norman's house and at the top of the stairs is attacked by a figure who slashes his face with a knife, pushes him down the stairs, then stabs him to death. When Arbogast does not call Lila, she and Sam contact the local police. Deputy Sheriff Al Chambers is perplexed to learn Arbogast saw a woman in a window, since Norman's mother died ten years ago. Norman confronts his mother and urges her to hide in the cellar. She rejects the idea and orders him out of her room, but against her will Norman carries her to the cellar.

Posing as a married couple, Sam and Lila check into the motel and search Marion's room, where they find a scrap of paper in the toilet with "$40,000" written on it. While Sam distracts Norman, Lila sneaks into the house to search for his mother. Sam suggests to Norman that he killed Marion for the money so he could buy a new hotel. Realizing Lila is not around, Norman knocks Sam unconscious and rushes to the house. Lila sees him and hides in the cellar where she discovers the semi-preserved and mummified body of Norman's mother. Wearing his mother's clothes and a wig and carrying a knife, Norman enters and tries to attack Lila, but she is rescued by Sam.

After Norman's arrest, forensic psychiatrist Dr. Fred Richmond tells Sam and Lila that Norman's dead mother is living in Norman's psyche as an alternate personality. After the death of Norman's father, the pair lived as if they were the only people in the world. When his mother found a lover, Norman went over the edge with jealousy and murdered both of them. Consumed with guilt, he tried to "erase the crime" by bringing his mother back to life in his mind. He stole her corpse and preserved the body. When he is "Mother", he acts, talks, and dresses as she would. Norman imagined his mother would be as jealous of a woman to whom he might be attracted just as he was of his mother's lover, and so "Mother" kills any woman he has feelings for; when Norman regains consciousness, he believes that his mother has committed the crime, and covers up for her. It is implied that Norman is responsible for the unsolved disappearances of two young girls. Richmond concludes that the "Mother" personality has now taken complete control of Norman's mind.

In the final scene, Norman sits in a cell, thinking in "Mother"'s voice. In a voiceover, "Mother" explains that she plans to prove to the authorities she is incapable of violence by refusing to swat a fly that has landed on her hand. The final shot shows Marion's car being recovered from the swamp.

Six sorority sisters (Jessica, Cassidy, Ellie, Claire, Chugs, and Megan) live perfect, fun-filled college lives. When Megan discovers her boyfriend, Garrett, is cheating on her, the sisters plot to stage Megan's death during a makeout session with Garrett as payback for being unfaithful.

During the prank, the girls and Garrett bring Megan's "dead" body to a steel mill. While the girls giggle and try to prolong the prank, they mention to Garrett that they need something to chop up the body with. When the girls' backs are turned, Garrett impales a car Lug wrench into her chest, actually killing her. The girls and Garrett, shocked at the murder of their best friend, vow to never ever speak of that night again. One year later, during the party after graduation, the girls get a mysterious video sent to their phones (featuring a hooded figure holding the bloody lug wrench Garret used to kill Megan).

They soon find the hooded figure is stalking them and their boyfriends. One by one the girls get killed off and the race is on for them to find out who is behind the brutal murders, before it's too late. They eventually find out it is Andy, but not before he kills most of them (leaving only three).

Kate and John Coleman are experiencing strains in their marriage after Kate's third child was stillborn. The loss is particularly hard on Kate, who is still recovering from a drinking habit that cost her her job. They adopt Esther, a 9-year-old Russian girl they had met, from the local orphanage. While Kate and John's deaf-mute daughter Max embraces Esther almost immediately, their son Daniel is somewhat less welcoming.
Kate grows suspicious when Esther, who watched Kate and John have sex, expresses far more knowledge of sex and its slang than would be expected for a child her age. Not long after Esther arrives, she pushes a schoolmate down a playground slide, who had picked on her, breaking her ankle. Max saw Esther shove the girl, but covers for Esther by saying that the girl "slipped". However, She is further alarmed when Sister Abigail , the head of the orphanage, warns her and John about Esther's tendency to be around when things go wrong. Esther overhears this, and later kills Sister Abigail with a hammer to the head. She convinces Max (Puts a gun to her head) to help her hide the body and the hammer. Daniel sees Esther and Max descending from his treehouse from behind a rock, not knowing they hid the hammer there. Later that night, Esther threatens to cut off Daniel's "hairless little prick before knows what its used for" if he tells anyone what he saw.

Kate is told by the orphanage that they can't find any record of the Russian orphanage Esther came from. However, John doesn't believe her, despite continued ominous behavior by Esther. That night, Esther picks flowers for Kate that are from Kate's special plant and Kate pushes her to the ground. Later,Esther breaks her own arm in John's vise, and convinces John that Kate broke it in the scuffle from earlier that day over the rosebush. On Esther's first day back at school, she slips Kate's SUV into neutral, nearly killing Max. Badly shaken, Kate buys two bottles of wine, but at the last minute pours one of them down the drain and leaves the other full.

Kate learns that Esther was housed at a mental institution in Estonia called the Saarne Institute, but when she expresses misgivings to John, he and her counselor think that Kate is relapsing into her drinking habit. After John produces the other bottle Kate bought the night before, he threatens to leave her unless she gets help.

Daniel learns of the hammer from Max and decides to get it and go to the police. However, Esther sets the treehouse on fire, intending to get rid of the evidence and kill Daniel. Daniel escapes by falling out of the tree, and gets a severe neck injury. Esther tries to finish him off by smashing a brick over his head, but Max shoves her out of the way just in time. Esther again tries to kill him at the hospital by smothering him with a pillow. As doctors rush to save Daniel, Kate angrily knocks Esther down for doing that and is sedated by doctors.

That night, Esther tries to seduce a drunk and sad John. John realizes Kate was telling the truth all along, and threatens to call the orphanage. Esther, angry at being spurned,ransacks her room and later stabs him to death. Max witnesses this and hides in her laundry hamper.

As Kate is coming out of sedation, she gets a call from the Saarne Institute's director, Dr. Värava , who reveals that Esther isn't a 9-year-old girl at all, but a 33-year-old woman named Leena Klammer. She has hypopituitarism, a disorder that stunted her physical growth, and has spent most of her life posing as a little girl. The doctor tells Kate that Esther is dangerously psychotic, and Kate should rush home to her family. Kate rushes home, where Esther shoots her in the arm before searching for Max.

Their chase takes them outside to a frozen pond, where Kate and Esther struggle before falling through broken ice from the knife Esther tried to stab Kate with. Kate crawls out of the hole, followed by Esther, who begs for her life, addressing Kate as "Mommy". Kate angrily responds that she is not her mother, and kicks Esther in the face, breaking her neck and sending her back into the pond to drown.

Ana, a nurse, finishes a long shift at her Milwaukee hospital, then returns to her peaceful suburban home and waiting husband Luis. The two jump in the shower and miss emergency broadcasts on TV about a mysterious epidemic. The next morning the couple is awakened by their neighbor's zombified daughter entering their room. She kills Luis, who immediately reanimates as a zombie. Ana flees in her car, but an attempted hijacking by a lone bus driver sends her crashing into a tree and knocks her out. Accompanying the opening credits, a bleak news-video montage depicts swarms of zombies overwhelming human civilization worldwide.Upon awaking, Ana meets Kenneth, a police sergeant. They and three others – jack-of-all-trades Michael, petty criminal Andre and his pregnant Russian wife Luda – break into the nearby Crossroads Shopping Mall. Inside, a scuffle with a zombified mall security guard results in Luda getting a minor wound.They confront three living security guards – C.J., Bart and Terry – and give up their weapons in exchange for refuge. After the group secures the mall, they head to the roof and "meet" another survivor, Andy, who is stranded alone in his gun store, across the mall's zombie-infested parking lot.

The next day, a delivery truck carrying survivors enters the mall's parking lot closely followed by zombies. Terry sides with the new arrivals, C.J. and Bart are disarmed, and the inhabitants of the delivery truck are allowed into the mall, among them the driver, Norma, Steve, Tucker, Frank (who has been bitten), his teen daughter Nicole, Monica, Glen and a bloated woman who is heavily infected. When the bloated woman becomes a zombie and is killed by Ana, the group determines that the disease is blood-borne and bites are how the zombies multiply; after Ana and Michael argue about what to do with the rapidly-deteriorating Frank, the man is isolated in a store with Kenneth. Michael and Ana achieve an awkward reconciliation, which is interrupted by a zombie-like call from Frank, immediately followed by Kenneth's shotgun blast.Though the mall provides many material distractions, and Michael and Ana edge towards a romance, the undead surround the refuge in ever-increasing numbers, eventually filling the parking lot. The mall’s power goes out and C.J., Bart, Michael and Kenneth enter the underground parking garage to turn on the emergency generator. After they meet an unaffected dog, a zombie swarm kills Bart and traps the others in the generator compartment, where they douse the zombies with gasoline and set them ablaze.

Meanwhile, Andre, faced with the fact that Luda's wound is inexorably killing her, sinks into denial and has Luda tied to a bed. Even as she gives birth, she dies and reanimates. Norma checks on the couple, discovering the zombie-Luda and the deranged Andre. Norma shoots Luda in the head, causing Andre to snap completely; they exchange more gunfire, killing each other. Ana arrives and opens the bundle Andre was clutching to reveal a zombie baby. She pulls her revolver and a single shot rings through the mall.The remaining survivors decide to flee the mall, fight their way to the local marina, and from there travel out on Steve's yacht to an island in Lake Michigan. They reinforce two shuttle buses from the parking garage, while chainsaws, propane tanks and other supplies are loaded on board. Meanwhile, Andy is starving, so the mall survivors strap a pack of food on "Chips", the dog from the basement, and lower him into the parking lot. Chips reaches the gun-shop untouched, but a zombie gets in as well and badly injures Andy. Nicole, distraught over Chips, takes the delivery truck and barges into the gun store, where she is trapped by a now-zombified Andy.A team led by Kenneth head into the sewers. They reach the gun store, kill the zombified Andy, find Nicole and Chips, and stock up on weapons and ammunition. They escape back to the sewers, but the zombies pursue them, kill Tucker, and, thanks to assigned guard Steve's negligence, break into the mall, forcing an immediate evacuation. The survivors pile into the buses and smash out into the parking lot, where a propane bomb is used to clear a path through the waiting horde. When a zombie clings to the side of Kenneth's bus, Glen decides to use a chainsaw to saw him off. After a huge turn, Glen loses control of the chainsaw and he accidentally cuts Monica in half. Blood splatters on the windshield causing Kenneth to crash the bus. Steve flees the toppled bus and is attacked by a hitchhiking zombie.

The others scramble for the second bus, meeting zombie-Steve on the way. Ana kills him after discovering both Glen and Monica's dead bodies in the crash. She then lingers to get the boat keys off his corpse, allowing more zombies to catch up with them. Ana flees to the bus, and Michael helps her in. After a struggle, they pull away and speed to the marina, where they crash the bus and dash for the boat. C.J., cornered in the bus, detonates a final propane tank, blowing up the vehicle, more zombies, and himself. The remainder of the group gets on the boat, except for Michael, who was bitten while helping Ana. Ana watches as Michael draws his pistol, places it under his chin, and pulls the trigger leaving Ana, Kenneth, Nicole, Terry and Chips as the only survivors.

The closing credits are interspersed with short clips from a camcorder found on the boat. The boat drifts to an island after the motor quits during the grim journey across the lake, where they are met by a new swarm of zombies. The film ends with the dropped camcorder recording dozens of zombies running towards the survivors in their now powerless boat.

Hostel is a 2005 horror film written and directed by Eli Roth, starring Jay Hernandez, Derek Richardson, Jennifer Lim, Eythor Gudjonsson and Barbara Nedeljáková. Due to the graphic nature of this film, its showing has been restricted in certain countries, primarily those with strict censorship policies.

In Amsterdam, American backpackers Paxton (Jay Hernandez), Josh (Derek Richardson), and Icelandic Óli (Eyþór Guðjónsson) meet Alexei (Lubomir Bukovy), a Russian man who tells them about a Slovak hostel filled with American-loving local women. The backpackers board a train to Slovakia, where they meet a Dutch businessman (Jan Vlasák) and are unnerved by his bizarre behavior.

Upon arriving in the small village, the backpackers check into the local hostel and find themselves sharing a room with Natalya (Barbara Nedeljáková) and Svetlana (Jana Kadeřábková), two attractive single women who entice them into going to a spa and a disco before sleeping with them. Soon after they arrive, they slowly start to realize that this hostel is hiding a terrible, dark and disturbing secret.

After following the Dutch businessman, off the train, Paxton sees the Dutch businessman's daughter. Paxton follows her to the ladies restroom while the business man is washing in the men's room. When he discovers his daughter is gone, he goes into the ladies restroom calling her name and then looks around the station. We then see Paxton restraining the Dutchman's daughter on the train with his hand over her mouth. After the credits there is a voice of a Russian girl talking and then laughing.

Angela Vidal (Jennifer Carpenter) and her cameraman Scott Percival (Steve Harris), a late night television host and crew duo, set out to film a report on the night shift of a Los Angeles fire station. Angela and Scott are introduced to firefighters Fletcher (Johnathon Schaech) and Jake (Jay Hernandez).

A medical emergency at an apartment complex is reported and the night shift is sent in. Yuri (Rade Serbedzija) the building manager leads everyone and two police officers, James (Andrew Fiscella) and Danny (Columbus Short), to the apartment of Mrs. Espinoza (Jeannie Epper), the source of prior screaming. Yuri knocks, waits, then unlocks the door and a dog runs out. Inside, Espinoza is hysterical, with blood dripping from her mouth and staining her nightgown. While trying to subdue the crazed elder, James gets bitten by Espinoza. The police and firemen save him and leave her in the apartment, with Fletcher to keep watch over her. Lawrence (Greg Germann), a veterinarian, tends to the injured policeman when Fletcher falls off a railing and hits the floor of the lobby several stories below. His neck is broken and his bones are shattered, and there are signs of him being bitten as well, though a pulse is still detectable. Danny and Jake go upstairs, and Jake is forced to shoot Espinoza after she growls and charges at them, even more hysterical than the prior times she is shown on camera. Upon return downstairs, Danny, Jake, Angela, and Scott learn that all exterior windows and doors are sealed from the outside due to a containment process by police officers outside the building; all cell phones and cable connections to televisions are jammed, as well. Everyone except two people, and a sick woman named Elise (Stacy Chbosky) are brought downstairs by the fire department. During a short lull in the action, Angela interviews Briana (Joey King), the five-year-old daughter of two tenants who is sick with bronchitis. Briana reveals that her father took her sick dog, Max, to the animal hospital, which is why he is not around. Lawrence incredulously concludes that the symptoms of those infected are similar to rabies, only much more fast-acting.

Bernard (Bernard White) and Sadie (Dania Ramirez) introduce themselves as a music teacher and his student. In the middle of their interview with Angela, Fletcher, foaming at the mouth, stands up on his broken legs and attempts to attack everyone, but Lawrence sedates him. Bernard, Sadie, Angela, and Scott sneak upstairs to Bernard and Sadie's apartment, where they have a television hooked up to an antenna; without the use of cable television, they will be able to watch the news reports and learn more about what's going on. Upstairs, they witness Espinoza's dog attack a man who refused to come downstairs when he appears in the elevator. Shaken, they continue to Bernard and Sadie's apartment, and watch as a news report on television states that everyone was evacuated from the apartment complex before the police began to quarantine the building, an obvious lie. The power goes off moments later, and a noise is heard from another part of the apartment. Elise, rabid and hysterical, attacks Angela, though doesn't succeed in biting her. Scott beats Elise's face in with the camera, and after a few seconds of letting the moment sink in, the foursome return downstairs, leaving Elise in the apartment, unconscious.

Danny rounds everyone up and informs them that Centers for Disease Control and Prevention agents are coming in to give blood tests. Lawrence corrects him by saying the only way to test for rabies is through a brain sample, but Danny insists on what he was told, refusing to accept that it is rabies. While performing a role call of all the tenants to make sure everyone who is still alive is in the room, Yuri reveals that the attic is being rented by a man from Boston who has been absent for roughly three months.

CDC agents arrive and take a brain sample from Fletcher, who, shortly after, breaks his restraints and attacks one of the agents. Danny, Jake, and the other agent escape, and lock Lawrence in the room with Fletcher the injured man; Lawrence gets bitten. The surviving CDC agent reluctantly explains the situation: an ill dog in a local animal hospital was found to be rabid and attacked all the other animals in the hospital. When they checked the collar, the owner was tracked to live here; the dog is Max, Briana's dog. The tenants all become frightened of Briana and insist that her mother Kathy (Marin Hinkle) allow the CDC agent to run tests on the girl to make sure she didn't catch the illness from Max prior to his being admitted into the hospital. Kathy stubbornly tells them repeatedly that nothing is wrong with her daughter other than a touch of bronchitis, until Briana rapidly shows signs of being rabid and bites Kathy in the neck. She runs upstairs, and Kathy is handcuffed to the stairwell after she tries to prevent them from finding Briana. Danny, Jake, Angela, and Scott bring a needle with sedative and look for Briana in the dark floors above. They find her hiding, and while attempting to inject her with the sedative, Danny gets bitten. Angela, Scott, and Jake run downstairs, terrified.

A few men downstairs fight to contain the infected, but the hungry monsters get them and attack Kathy. Scott, Angela, Jake, Yuri, Yuri's wife, Bernard, and Sadie run into an apartment and lock the infected people out. The CDC agent sitting in an adjacent room reveals that he has been bitten, and it's shown that Sadie was bitten in the hysteria, as well. Bernard, refusing to allow any of the others to shoot her to protect themselves, tears the plastic from the window in an attempt to obtain help. In response, he is shot by a sniper. Yuri remembers that, in his apartment, there are keys to get to the sewers from the basement, but is then attacked by the CDC agent in the other room. His wife is attacked by Sadie, forcing Jake, Scott, and Angela to run to Yuri's apartment in a frantic search for the keys. After they find the keys, Jake and Scott fight off several infected tenants until Yuri bites Jake. Danny barrels up the stairs roaring and chases Angela and Scott into the attic, belonging to the aforementioned absent Bostonian.

They discover evidence - including newspaper articles, a recorded tape, and more - that explains the man from Boston was part of a doomsday cult, which broke into a military biological facility to steal the virus that started everything in the apartment. Scott investigates a noise in the attic and ducks from being attacked by an infected boy, who destroys the light on Scott's camera. Angela and Scott use the night vision setting on the camera to discover an emaciated man (Doug Jones), most likely the man from Boston, as he emerges from another room. He walks past them, just barely getting by without encountering either survivor, but attacks Scott when Angela inadvertently makes a noise. The infected man starts eating Scott, but then hears and attacks Angela, knocking her and the camera to the floor. Angela tries to crawl back to the camera, but is dragged screaming into the darkness.

The Haunting in Connecticut

The story centers around Matt Campbell, who is being treated for cancer on a trial therapy in a remote hospital. After seeing the effect the long commute has on Matt, his mother rents a nearby house, which she learns was previously a funeral home. They discover a mortuary room in the basement that they are unable to enter initially, which serverly burns Matt when he attempts to enter. The family begins experiencing violent, supernatural events that the parents first blame on stress and hallucinations from Matt's medications and treatment. Matt also experiences several disturbing visions of a séance from the point of view of a young man named Jonah, including an intense séance, and witnessing a doctor inscribe runes upon a corpse. After a game of hide and seek, during which Matt's younger brother encounters a badly burned ghost in a dumbwaiter, Matt discovers a box containing a number of photographs from the séance, and spots the boy Jonah he believed he had been hallucinating, as well as a box of human eyelids.

They investigate the houses past, and discover the previous owner, Doctor Aickman, conducted séances in the house, using his assistant Jonah as a medium, who convinced many skeptics of his abilities. Doctor Aickman and his guests all died during one of the séances, and Jonah went missing. Matt then contacts a minister, Nicholas, who is also dying of cancer he meets at the hospital to ask for his help. Nicholas hypothesizes that Aickman was performing necromancy on the bodies that he was meant to inter to enhance Jonah's abilities as a medium, and buried coffins filled with sandbags. Nicholas, after initially being driven out by the mother, is called back after the entire family encounters ghosts in a single night, including a electrical storm that takes place throughout the house. After searching the house, Nicholas discovers ashes and a portion of a skull in the mortuary oven. While removing it, the doors and windows begin to slam violently, which abruptly ceases after Nicholas is outside. The same night, the family wakes to find strange markings carved into Matt's body, and he is rushed to the hospital.

Nicholas runs off the road after seeing the burned ghost in his rearview mirror. Both he and Matt have a similar vision, revealing that the burned ghost is Jonah, who was killed after the séance by the spirits, who used his abilities as a medium to burn the other guests alive. Matt, after encountering Jonah and learning that he has days to live, breaks out of the hospital and rushes home. After breaking into the house with a fireax, he rushes his siblings outside, and barricades himself in the house. He then smashes the interior walls of the living room, revealing dozens of embalmed corpses. After setting the house ablaze, his mother then comes in to save him, and firemen pull them both out of the burning house, and Matt is revived. Jonah is shown one last time, unharmed, before vanishing. After credits indicate that Matt's cancers went into total remission, and that the Aickman house was rebuilt and resold, with no further incidents reported.

As the situation in the once-peaceful household rapidly begins to deteriorate, Rachel's true colors finally begin boiling to the surface.

The Uninvited is a 2009 American remake of the 2003 South Korean horror film A Tale of Two Sisters. It is unrelated to another 2003 Korean horror film and a 1944 American film of the same name.

Eleven years ago, a cave-in on the north side of a mine trapped six miners. Six weeks later when rescue teams arrived, they found five dead miners and Harry Warden (Richard John Walters) who survived by killing the other miners with a pick-axe, and is in a coma. Tom Hanniger (Jensen Ackles) is under suspicion to have committed the crime. Finally, he is blamed for the mine disaster because he forgot to vent the methane lines.
The following year on Valentine's Day, Warden wakes up from his coma, killing many in the process, even a pregnant woman which he had opened her stomach and her baby wasn't there. At the abandoned mineshaft that was the site of the disaster, a party is in full swing, attended by many teens, including Axel (Kerr Smith), his girlfriend Irene (Betsy Rue), Tom Hanniger, and his girlfriend, Sarah (Jaime King). Sarah goes in alone and gets lost looking for Axel and Irene. She runs across a teen and a few seconds later he is stabbed in the back of his head through his eye. She is confronted by Harry Warden in full miner's garb, carrying a bloody pick-axe, and flees for safety; Axel grabs her and they hide from the killer. He also kills someone with a shovel by cutting her head off in half via the jaw (although she survives for a tiny while until he pushes it in harder). He eventually sees them, and they run out of the mine, where they run into Tom coming in. The killer hits him with the pick axe, injuring him, while the other three run for the car and leave him behind. Tom runs back into the mine in an attempt to get away from the killer; just as he's about to be killed, the police arrive and shoot the killer, but he makes his getaway back into the mine.

Ten years later, Tom's father, whom Tom was estranged from, dies and Tom inherits the mine. Tom then returns to town after his father's funeral to sell the mine. Axel is now sheriff and married to Sarah, however he is cheating on her with Megan who helps out his wife at her grocery store, who admits to Axel after they finish having sex, that she is pregnant with his child. In quick succession, Irene is murdered by Harry Warden at the motel where Tom is staying when she was having sex [ad was groaning loudly that Tom can hear outside in digsust], then as Tom goes to check out his newly inherited mine, a miner is murdered. While in the mine, when Warden appears, Tom is forced into a cage and Warden bends the metal latch on the door; making Tom's escape impossible. Warden then brutally murders the miner who was accompanying Tom on his journey into the mine, as Tom is forced to watch. As the rest of the mining crew arrive to see what is the matter, Warden flees, and suspicion is cast on Tom; despite the fact that he was locked in a cage the entire time. Sheriff Axel then asks his father, the retired sheriff, what happened to Warden. He says that he and Tom's father killed and buried him. Axel, Tom, Sarah and Axel's father go to the spot where Warden was buried to see that his body is no longer there.

Next, the current mine manager and Megan are killed by Warden. Tom picks Sarah up to take her to Axel's love nest to convince her that Axel is the killer. Axel then calls her and tells her that Tom is the killer. She crashes Tom's car and makes her way to Axel's shack. Sarah is chased by the killer all the way to the mine. There, Sarah goes into the shaft where the original murders took place, where she is joined by both Tom and Axel, and after a brief stand off, Axel and Sarah realize that Tom is delusional. A montage then plays out all the murders in the film again; this time showing the aftermath and beforehand, revealing Tom to be the killer. The killing in the mine in which Tom was locked in the cage, is played out again, this time showing Tom commit the murder, then lock himself in the cage; revealing Warden locking him in to be a hallucination. Sarah shoots a tank and causes an explosion, and subsequently a partial cave-in. She and Axel escape, believing and reporting Tom to be dead. A rescue team comes in to the mine to look for survivors, but Tom kills one of the rescuers and escapes the scene dressed in the rescue worker's clothing.

Hellraiser is a 1987 British horror film exploring the themes of sadomasochism, pain as a source of pleasure, and morality under duress and fear. It is based on the critically acclaimed novella The Hellbound Heart by Clive Barker, who also wrote the screenplay and directed the film. In the UK, the film is titled Clive Barker's Hellraiser. It is the first film in the Hellraiser series. Seven subsequent sequels followed with a remake of the first announced in 2007. Hellraiser was number 19 on the cable channel Bravo's list of the 100 Scariest Movie Moments

Somewhere in Morocco, an impulsive and violent man named Frank Cotton (Sean Chapman) purchases an antique puzzle box from a dealer. Back at his house Frank solves the puzzle box and hooked chains immediately fly out of it, tearing into his flesh. Demons from another realm called Cenobites appear to inspect Frank's remains. Their leader, "Pinhead", (Doug Bradley) picks up the box and twists it back into its original state, and the room also returns to normal.

Frank's brother Larry (Andrew Robinson) soon moves into Frank's abandoned house with his second wife, Julia (Clare Higgins), who previously had an affair with Frank. They assume that Frank is off on one of his nefarious adventures. Julia is seen exploring the house, finding pictures of Frank with many different women, and reliving the day she was seduced by Frank. Larry's teenage daughter, Kirsty Cotton (Ashley Laurence), chooses not to live with her stepmother and moves into her own place. After cutting his hand on a nail (while moving a mattress), Larry goes upstairs to the room where Frank was killed and his blood falls on the floor. It mysteriously disappears through the floorboards, and Frank's soul uses this blood as nourishment to partially regenerate his body. Later, Frank (now as Oliver Smith) convinces Julia to help restore him to his full physical form. Julia succumbs to Frank's entreaties and agrees to help him by seducing men and luring them up to the empty attic where Frank hides. After having Julia incapacitate them, Frank drains them of their blood, which allows him to further regenerate his body. Frank tells Julia about the puzzle box (which he still possesses) and explains that by reclaiming his body he has broken his deal with the Cenobites. He wants to restore himself and then leave with Julia before the Cenobites find him.

Kirsty escapes the hospital and races to her father's home to warn him about Frank. Larry informs Kirsty that Frank has been taken care of, and Julia shows Kirsty a skinless body in the attic. The Cenobites reappear, demanding the man responsible for this death. Kirsty believes they want her father and she runs to warn him. However, she soon realizes that Frank has murdered her father, using the latter's skin as a disguise to get Kirsty to trust him.

Frank (now as Andrew Robinson) attacks Kirsty, accidentally stabbing Julia in the process. Frank then drains Julia of her blood, further nourishing himself. He goes to the attic where Kirsty is hiding. Kirsty weeps and accuses Frank of murdering her father. Frank is unrepentant, telling Kirsty her father was already dead inside, and besides it was inevitable anyway. Having heard Frank's confession, the Cenobites appear. Frank tries to kill Kirsty for setting him up, but a hooked chain flies through the air and snares his hand, pulling him back into the room. Dozens of these chains fly through the air and hook themselves into his flesh as he screams in agony, and hold him transfixed like a fly in a spider's web. His screams subside, and looking at Kirsty, says "Jesus wept" before the chains tear him apart. Kirsty runs through the house, eager to escape, but the Cenobites want her as well. Kirsty finds the puzzle box clutched in the hands of Julia's corpse. One by one she banishes the Cenobites back to their realm by reversing the solution to the puzzle box.

Afterwards, Kirsty tries to burn the box in a fire outdoors, but a strange man appears and picks it out of the flames. As the man is consumed by the flames he transforms into a winged, skeletal creature that flies away into the night. In the final scene, the box is shown in the hands of the merchant who originally sold it to Frank, asking another prospective customer, "What's your pleasure, sir?"

Sleepaway Camp is a 1983 cult classic horror movie written and directed by Robert Hiltzik—who also served as executive producer. The film is about campers getting killed at a summer camp. The film came at a time when slasher films were in their heyday. It has since developed a large cult following and is considered by many viewers to have one of the most disturbingly shocking endings of all horror films.

Over the years, the Sleepaway Camp films gained a loyal cult following. In the late 1980s, Michael A. Simpson directed two sequels, Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers (1988) and Sleepaway Camp III: Teenage Wasteland (1989). In them, Angela (now played by Bruce Springsteen's baby sister, Pamela Springsteen) resurfaces at a nearby summer camp, but this time masquerading as a counselor after a sex change that made her entirely female. Much like at the previous camp, she gleefully tortures and kills everyone upon whom she can get her hands.

Another rogue sequel, Sleepaway Camp IV: The Survivor, directed by Jim Markovic, was partially filmed but never completed. In 2002 the unfinished footage was released and made available as an exclusive fourth disc in Anchor Bay/Starz Entertainment's Sleepaway Camp DVD boxed set.

A new film, Return to Sleepaway Camp, was completed in 2003 and initially struggled to find distribution. It was directed by Robert Hiltzik, the director of the original 1983 film. He decided that this chapter will ignore the story lines of the previous sequels, stating that he wanted to pick up from where the original film ended. According to Fangoria.com the digital effects were redone in 2006 to 2008. The film finally found distribution, and was released November 04, 2008, by Magnolia/Magnet Pictures. Review copies of the film's rough screener have been sent out, and the movie's screener has already been leaked.

BLACK CHRISTMAS

Black Christmas is a 2006 remake of the 1974 film of the same name. It is directed by Glen Morgan. The movie is rated R in the US, 18A in Canada and 15 in the UK for strong horror violence and gore, sexuality, nudity and language. The film score was the last to be composed and conducted by Shirley Walker, who died a month before the film's release.

This film is a remake of the 1974 horror movie of the same title. The movie tells the story of Billy, a young boy who was abused by his mother as a child . While his mother was cheating on Billy's father, she eventually killed his father one Christmas and kept Billy in the attic—for good,while she was with her lover and starting a "new" family. On one night, after her lover fell asleep while they were having sex, Billy's mother seduced him and had sex with him, the result being Billy's mother being pregnant. As Billy's mother fell pregnant with a daughter and treated her with love, which Billy had never experienced with his mother, Billy came out of the attic after 15 years and brutally murdered his mother and her lover as his sister looked on. Cut to present day, a group of nine sorority sisters consisting of Kelli ,Melissa , Lauren , Heather , Dana , Megan ,Clair ,Eve and their house mother, Ms. Mac , who now live in Billy's childhood home, find themselves being harassed by threatening and intimidating mystery phone calls during Christmas break, and as two of the girls go missing, the girls begin being murdered one by one by none other than a mysterious person who lived in the house before them...might have been haunting them as well.

THE BLOB

The Blob is an amorphous creature from outer space which lands on Earth encased in a meteor. Two teenagers, Steve Andrews (McQueen) and Jane Martin (Corsaut) take a car to try to find where the meteor has landed. Meanwhile, an elderly man (Olin Howland) has heard the meteor crash near his house. He goes outside and upon finding it pokes it with a stick. The rock breaks open, and he finds a small mass of jelly-like substance inside. This "blob", which is actually a living creature, crawls up the stick and attaches itself to his hand. The man runs hysterically onto the road, where he is almost hit by Steve's car. Steve attempts to help the man, but he begs to be taken to the doctor. They arrive just as Doctor Hallen is about to leave the office. He takes the old man in and anesthetizes him, but finds that the mass has grown larger. Finally, it dissolves the old man completely and rolls to the floor, where it also engulfs and eats the nurse and later, the doctor himself.

Steve and Jane return to the office, now apparently empty, but in time for Steve to see the Blob consuming the doctor. He and Jane go to the local police, kindly Lt. Dave and cynical Sgt. Burt, and they go to the office where they find no sign of the creature or the doctor. Dismissing Steve's story, the police return Steve and Jane to their homes and parents. Later, they sneak out and get Steve's friends out of the late-night "Spook Show" (Daughter of Horror) and try to convince them that the Blob is threatening the town. The Blob, in the meantime, has consumed a mechanic and later (off camera), the janitor in Mr. Andrew's grocery store. Steve and Jane find it here, and it chases them into the walk-in refrigerator, but for some reason it does not follow them in after starting to squeeze under the door. They then escape and set off the town's fire and air-raid alarms. The whole town gathers and demands to know what is going on. As the townspeople and police angrily confront Steve, the Blob enters the Colonial Theater, engulfs and eats the man in the projection room, and then attacks the audience. As the patrons run screaming out of the theater, the truth of Steve's story is finally confirmed to everyone.

The Blob then follows Steve, Jane, and her little brother into the local diner, which it engulfs. The kids, along with the owner and his wife, run into the cellar. The police try to kill the Blob by dropping a power line onto it. This fails, but sets the diner on fire instead. The people are trapped inside with no hope of escape, until Steve starts to quench the fire with a fire extinguisher. The Blob, which is trying to reach them in the cellar, recoils. Steve tells Lt. Dave that the Blob cannot stand cold (explaining why it did not consume them in the refrigerator), and so, taking the fire extinguishers from the local high school, they attack the monster with carbon dioxide. Soon, the Blob is frozen solid, unable to move or engulf anyone. The film closes with a scene of a military plane dropping the Blob into an Arctic landscape.
The film ends with the words "The End", which then morph into a question mark, suggesting that the Blob may return

Final Destination is a 2000 supernatural thriller, about a group of teenagers who cheat death by avoiding a plane crash when one of them, Alex, has a premonition of their deaths. Soon after their escape, they begin dying one-by-one in mysterious freak accidents. The script was originally written by Jeffrey Reddick as a spec script for the X-Files. (Director James Wong worked as a writer, producer and director on that series.) The story shares similarities with an episode of The Twilight Zone titled "Twenty-Two". The film is distributed by New Line Cinema. The DVD was released on September 26, 2000. The film was the first in the Final Destination series, which has since produced three sequels and a series of books.

Alexander Chance "Alex" Browning (played by Devon Sawa): Alex is a student and the main character. He has the premonition that Flight 180 will explode, which leads to a handful of passengers being thrown off the plane.

Clear Rivers (played by Ali Larter): Clear is a fellow classmate of Alex's.

Carter Horton (played by Kerr Smith): Carter is an athlete who deeply resents Alex.

William "Billy" Hitchcock (played by Sean William Scott): The jokester of the group.

Ms. Valerie Lewton (played by Kristen Cloke): Ms. Lewton is one of the teachers supervising the trip to Paris. She volunteers to stay behind with the students forced off Flight 180.

Terry Chaney (played by Amanda Detmer): Terry is Carter's girlfriend.

Tod Waggner (played by Chad Donella): Alex's best friend.

Agent Weine and Agent Schreck: Two FBI agents who suspect Alex may be involved with the explosion of Flight 180 and the subsequent deaths of the survivors. Portrayed by Daniel Roebuck and Roger Guenveur Smith respectively.

William Bludworth: William Bludworth is a mortician who introduces the characters to the concept of Death's Design. He is portrayed by Tony Todd.

Deaths

Carter Horton - Location of Death: Downtown Paris. Cause of Death: Hit by a sign.

A group of birds are startled by a bus which nearly kills Alex. The birds then fly up and into a sign. The sign is knocked out of its anchoring and is then sent hurdling towards Alex, but Carter pushes him out of the way causing the sign to swing back and hit Carter.

William Hitchcock - Location of Death: Rural Railroad Crossing. Cause of Death: Partially decapitated.

A metal shard (presumably from Carter's car) is kicked up by the chains of an oncoming train. This shard then ricochets and hits Billy in the head, severing it from the top jaw upward. It happens right after Carter is saved from death because Alex pulls him out of his car when his seatbelt jams, just before the car is hit by the train.

Valerie Lewton- Location of Death: Her Kitchen. Cause of Death: Severe Trauma & Multiple Stab Wounds causing massive bleeding.

After throwing out hot tea she had been preparing, Val fills her glass mug with ice cold vodka. The sudden tempurature change causes the mug to crack the vodka in her glass leaks into the monitor of her computer, causing it to short-circuit and blow up. This propels glass shards from the monitor screen into her neck. She ultimately dies when she reaches for a towel that is snagged on a knife rack. She pulls down the towel in attempt to stop the bleeding and the knives come down piercing her several times in the chest. Alex enters the house and attempts to save her, but the knives are pushed down even deeper when the microwave explodes and the concussion from the blast blows a chair over, which falls on her.

Terry Chaney - Location of Death: City Street. Cause of Death: Hit by a bus.

Getting into an argument with Alex, Clear and Carter causes her to walk off in disgust. She walks off into the street and right into the path of an oncoming bus.

Tod Waggner - Location of Death: Bathroom. Cause of Death: Strangulation by shower wire.

Slips on water that leaked from the bathroom toliet. He becomes entangled in the shower hanging wire when it wraps around his neck. During the struggle to survive, he knocks over various shampoo and conditioner bottles. This makes standing up nearly impossible. He is eventually strangled to death. The water is seen afterward seeping back into the toliet.

THE HOUSE OF DRACULA

House of Dracula was an American vampire horror film released by Universal Pictures Company in 1945. It was a direct sequel to House of Frankenstein and continued the theme of combining Universal's three most popular monsters: Frankenstein's monster, Count Dracula and The Wolf Man.

The main plot is that both Dracula and Larry Talbot are both seeking a cure from their respective monster afflictions from Dr. Edelmann (Onslow Stevens).
Dracula actually appears to be searching for a cure for his vampirism. Somehow Dracula survived his destruction by sunlight exposure from the previous film House of Frankenstein and initially seeks to be cured of his vampirism at the hands of the doctor as he seems apparently tired of his monster nature. But after re-meeting the doctor's beautiful assistant whom he knew in his alias of "Baron Latos", Dracula's monsterous nature reasserts itself and infects Edelmann through a blood transfusion of his vampire blood, which turns Edelmann into a Jekyll and Hyde like creature. Though Edelmann succeeds in destroying Dracula, Edelmann realizes that he is slowly degrading into a murderous monster himself.

Lawrence Talbot soon arrives at Edelmann's castle, seeking a cure for the curse that turns him into a werewolf (Talbot's return from death having been maintained from his particular invulnerability to silver weapons which was used to explain his first reappearance as shown in Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man) as Larry Talbot was bludgeoned to death by his father using a silver topped cane in the original The Wolf Man. The Frankenstein Monster plays a minor role in this film, only being found during Talbot's attempt at suicide by drowning in the ocean late in the film

The Monster does not actually go into action until almost the climactic finish, which results in Talbot finally being cured of his affliction and falling in love with Edelmann's attractive assistant (Martha O'Driscoll) and killing the Hyde like version of Edelmann. The Frankenstein Monster once again burned to death in yet another fire destruction of the castle he is in.
Also appearing in the film is Jane Adams, whose character, Nina, is a hunchback and was thus billed as one of the monsters in the film. In fact, her character is portrayed sympathetically and the use of an attractive actress to play an otherwise misshapen individual is notable for the time

Dr. Hannibal Lecter, is a fictional character in a series of novels by author Thomas Harris. Lecter is introduced in the thriller novel Red Dragon as a brilliant psychiatrist and cannibalistic serial killer. This novel and its sequel, The Silence of the Lambs, feature Lecter as one of two primary antagonists. In the third novel, Hannibal, Lecter becomes the main character. His role as protagonist continues into the fourth novel, Hannibal Rising, which explores his childhood and development into a serial killer. Lecter's character also appears in all five film adaptations. The first movie, Manhunter, was loosely based on Red Dragon, and features Brian Cox as Lecter, spelled as "Lektor". In 2002, a second adaptation of Red Dragon was made under the original title, featuring Anthony Hopkins, who had previously played Lecter in the motion pictures The Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal. Hopkins won an Academy Award for his performance of the character in The Silence of the Lambs in 1991.

The series revolves around the Jigsaw Killer , a dying, later dead, man who kidnaps a series of victims and places them in deadly, elaborate traps designed to test them and give them an opportunity to repent their former lifestyles, in which Jigsaw feels that they took their lives for granted. Each concludes with a twist that wraps things up, but also creates more questions to be answered in the following film.

The Jigsaw Killer character was introduced in the 2004 film Saw through the character Dr. Gordon's recounting of his first killings. Jigsaw is described as a mysterious person who kidnaps people he sees as wasting their lives and attempts to "save" them by administering various inhumane tests. As opposed to other killers, Jigsaw does not actually intend to kill his subjects. The purpose of his traps is to see if the subject has the will to survive, and thus inflict enough psychological trauma for the subject to appreciate their life and save themselves from their own demons. As his victims increase, the media dubs him The Jigsaw Killer—or simply, Jigsaw—because of the jigsaw puzzle-shaped piece of flesh that he cuts from an unsuccessful subject, a practice explained in Saw II as reflecting the subject "was missing a vital piece of the human puzzle; the survival instinct".

Much of the character's backstory was revealed in Saw II, revealing that he had become sick and had gone in for a check-up, where he learned from Dr. Lawrence Gordon that he was dying of colon cancer, with an inoperable brain tumor. From there, he stated that he began to see how many people took their lives for granted. He ended up driving himself off of a cliff, but survived the suicide attempt, and began his work to save people from themselves. John's work eventually got him the name of The Jigsaw Killer, in spite of the fact that the circumstances and intentions he had while conducting his work did not make him a killer by definition.

By Saw III, a dying Jigsaw is bedridden and extremely concerned over Amanda's failure to allow her subjects a fair chance to survive her tests. In his desperation, Jigsaw administers a final test to Amanda, in order to see if she was truly capable of successfully carrying on his work. Being kept alive by Dr. Lynn Denlon, a test subject who is forced to perform brain surgery on Jigsaw at the risk of dying by her own trap, Jigsaw attempts to keep Amanda from failing her test. However, after she breaks down, Amanda shoots Lynn. Witnessing this, Jeff Reinhart, the vengeful husband of Lynn who is also being tested, kills Amanda with a gunshot to her neck. After explaining the rules of a final game to Jeff, Jigsaw is killed when Jeff slices his throat with a power-saw. Whilst dying from this wound Jigsaw pulls out a tape player and plays Jeff a tape explaining that he is responsible for the abduction of Corbett, Jeff's daughter, and that if Jeff wants her back he'll have to participate in another game.
